American Society of Naval Engineers Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by American Society of Naval Engineers
Introduction
The American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) launched its scholarship program in 1979 to advance the naval engineering profession and encourage students to pursue careers in the field. Since that time, ASNE has granted hundreds of scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students committed to studying naval engineering.
Why naval engineering?
While naval engineering draws on longstanding traditions, it has continuously evolved through demands for greater power and efficiency, the integration of advanced technologies, and changing national security and warfare requirements. Today the discipline encompasses most engineering specialties applied to naval systems, making it a challenging, rewarding, and high-demand career path.
