Introduction
The Champion Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.C., is dedicated to supporting people across Atlanta and throughout Georgia after wrongful injuries. We also recognize that many teachers, coaches, family members, and mentors helped shape our paths. To give back, we created a scholarship to assist local students in pursuing their ambitions.

Who Should Apply
The Atlanta Future Champions Scholarship targets students who show strong character, a dedication to serving their community, and a drive to excel. If you are working hard to become the best in your field—through practice, persistence, and leadership—this scholarship is for you. Tell us how you plan to become a champion and who has supported you along the way.

Scholarship Overview
- Award: One-time $5,000 scholarship.
- Use of funds: The prize will be issued directly to the winning student’s qualifying school (registrar/financial aid office) and may be applied toward tuition, required fees, housing, and/or books up to the school’s Cost of Attendance.
- Renewal: This is a single, non-renewable award.
- Status: Currently open. Application deadline: Sunday, May 31, 2026 (submissions accepted up to midnight on that date).

Who Is Eligible
- Open to high school seniors and college students who live in the Atlanta Metro area counties of Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Paulding, or Rockdale, Georgia.
- Applicants must plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college, university, graduate program, or law school in the United States (“Qualifying Institution”).
- Applicants must be legal residents of the United States (one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia).
- Ineligible: Employees of The Champion Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.C., their immediate family members (parent, child, sibling, spouse), and anyone living in the same household as such employees (related or not).

Application Requirements
To apply, complete the online form and provide the following materials by the deadline:
1) Video — a 30 to 60 second clip in which you identify someone who has influenced your education/career goals, describe your ambitions and how this scholarship would help you pursue them. Creativity is encouraged. Phone-recorded videos are acceptable.
2) Essay — a 500–1,000 word written statement that expands on the video content, outlines your future goals, and explains how the scholarship will support those goals.
3) Letter of Recommendation — one recommendation from an employer, teacher, or school/career counselor who can vouch for your qualifications. The recommender must email their letter directly to marketing@thechampionfirm.com before the application deadline. (Letters sent by applicants will not be accepted.)
4) After winning — the selected recipient will be required to provide an official academic transcript.

Application Form Fields
The online submission requires your:
- Full name and contact information
- Address and date of birth
- Education information (anticipated graduation year; high school attended)
- Link to your video file or cloud folder
- Your essay pasted into the form
- Confirmation that a recommender will email the required letter

Submission Notes
- Video files or links may be emailed to marketing@thechampionfirm.com. Using a free Dropbox or Google Drive link is preferred for ease of review, but other delivery methods are acceptable.
- Entries will not be returned. Submissions may be published or shared on The Champion Firm’s social media channels.

Content Guidelines and Disqualification
Both the video and essay must be original, unpublished work created by the applicant. Submissions containing material that, in the sole judgment of The Champion Firm, is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, discriminatory or disparaging toward any protected group, infringing on third-party rights, unlawful, illegible, or submitted late will be disqualified.

Selection and Notification
All eligible entries will be evaluated by The Champion Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.C. without regard to race, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, or any other prohibited factor. The winner will be notified by email using the contact information provided on the application.

Award Procedures and Conditions
- Payment: The $5,000 award will be paid by check to the Qualifying Institution identified in the application.
- If the winner decides to enroll at a different Qualifying Institution than the one listed on their application, they must notify The Champion Firm within two months of being notified of the award so payment can be redirected.
- Requirements: Prior to disbursement (where permitted by law), the winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Compliance with Official Rules, a Publicity Release, and a Release of Liability.
- Failure to meet these requirements within fourteen (14) days of notification will result in forfeiture of the award and selection of an alternate recipient.
