Introduction Fort Lauderdale Alumnae Panhellenic awards a $1,500 scholarship to support students who exemplify strong academics and a commitment to service. The scholarship reflects the organization’s focus on character development through community involvement and scholastic achievement and is intended to assist applicants pursuing higher education. Eligibility Requirements To qualify, applicants must meet all of the following criteria: - Be female and have lived in Broward County for at least two (2) years immediately before submitting the application - Be a graduating senior at a Broward County high school - Be a citizen of the United States - Hold a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.3 or higher (4.0 scale) - Have an SAT combined score (Critical Reading + Math) of 1200 or above on the 1600 scale, or an ACT composite (English + Math + Science Reasoning + Reading) of 26 or higher on the 36 scale - Intend to enroll in an accredited four-year college or university - Demonstrate personal leadership through school and community extracurricular activities - Show effective communication skills - Provide evidence of financial need Award Amount The scholarship award is $1,500.
