Metro Youth Football Association Scholarships

The Metro Youth Football Association is currently inviting students to apply for the MYFA Legacy and John Pierce Volunteer Scholarships for the year 2026. The application process requires a letter of recommendation and the final date for submission is August 16, 2025.
The MYFA Scholarship Committee is responsible for determining the recipients of the MYFA Scholarships, which are given out on an annual basis. For this year, MYFA has two distinct scholarship opportunities available:
1. Four Legacy Scholarships, each worth $1500, will be granted to students who are set to graduate in the spring of 2026. These students must have been part of the MYFA Tackle Program and should still be actively involved in varsity level football.
2. The John Pierce Memorial Scholarship, valued at $1000, will be given to a single student who is also graduating in the spring of 2026. This student should have participated in the MYFA Tackle Program, but it is not a requirement for them to be currently playing football at the varsity level.
These scholarships are intended to support the recipients' further education, whether that be at a two-year or four-year college, or through classes in a skilled trade.
